Director of Finance (Bilingual Mandarin Preferred)

Location: On-Site | City of Industries CA
Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 (DOE)

About the Role

This is a hands-on, high-impact finance leadership role where you'll oversee the full spectrum of financial operations-from forecasting and reporting to compliance and inventory controls. You'll work closely with leadership and cross-functional partners to keep the business running efficiently and profitably across brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce channels.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, AP/AR, and reporting
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with clear insights for leadership
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory requirements, and internal controls
• Oversee Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) and inventory accounting to support margin and efficiency
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to support profitability and smart decision-making
• Manage banking relationships, treasury functions, and financial consolidations
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to align with company goals and growth

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA or equivalent preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and operational finance
• At least 5 years in a Controller-level role
• Experience within a consumer products company serving mass retailers and wholesale trade (required)
• Background supporting both brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• ERP experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Confident leader with a collaborative, mentoring approach
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin strongly preferred
